Troubleshooting a Windows problem or even just locating a specific setting can be challenging. Often, you end up stumbling around the operating system, hoping to find what you need. Now, Microsoft is aiming to ease that challenge through its own Copilot AI.

As anybody who has ever attempted to ask an artificial intelligence, or AI, chatbot — also known as Large Language Models, or LLMs — something like this online knows, the answer could be anything from a rambling note about the history of explosives to a permanent block on your account. 

Apple on Friday sued ChatGPT maker OpenAI and two of the firm’s executives, alleging that it stole Apple’s trade secrets to gain an edge in the AI arms race. 

Earlier this week, Bloomberg reported that Microsoft was replacing some of OpenAI’s software with its own in-house models to cut costs. Those in-house models, known as MAI, were being used to power apps like Word and Excel, the outlet noted.
