AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands; Aug. 25, 2026 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has agreed to acquire McCoy, a trusted Dutch SAP transformation partner for mid-market companies. Upon closing, McCoy will become part of Accenture Edge, Accenture’s recently launched mid-market business, strengthening its ability to help companies in this segment modernize operations, adopt AI and drive growth.

In the earnings season that is now wrapping up, technology companies delivered a clear message regarding artificial intelligence (AI) spending. The five hyperscalers — Microsoft, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta Platforms, and Oracle — all either reaffirmed or boosted their capital expenditure plans for the year, pushing their combined planned outlay north of $700 billion.

Billionaire hedge fund manager Stanley Druckenmiller, who runs the Duquesne Family Office, made a number of interesting portfolio moves during the second quarter. Among them, the firm sold some of its Sandisk(NASDAQ: SNDK) stock and piled into three other AI-related companies: Taiwan Semiconductor (NYSE: TSM), Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOG) (NASDAQ: GOOGL), and Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN).
