Cardano’s ADA climbed 8.3% to $0.2219 as ChatterPay expanded Cardano payments into WhatsApp, while governance changes and new trading access added further activity around the network. ADA reached a weekly high of $0.225, with its seven-day gain at 5.7%. Market capitalization stood at $8.337 billion, while 24-hour trading volume reached $705 million.
ChatterPay Opens Cardano Transfers Through WhatsApp

and USDCx on Cardano can now move to WhatsApp contacts worldwide through ChatterPay. WhatsApp has more than 3 billion monthly users, giving the service access to a large existing messaging network.
Cardanians described the development as Cardano getting ‘introduced to over 2 billion people.’ The post linked the new payment option with WhatsApp’s broad global reach. Users start at chatterpay.net and select the WhatsApp option. They then send the default message to create a wallet before depositing ADA or USDCx
.
From there, users can type a transfer instruction containing the ADA amount and recipient’s phone number. ChatterPay supports instructions in different languages and sends the recipient a WhatsApp notification.
Recipients do not need another application. Users can also add a PIN for security and return to the wallet through the ChatterPay website.
Governance Vote and Polymarket Listing Add Activity
Meanwhile, the Cardano Foundation
said the Update Constitutional Committee governance action cleared both required voting thresholds. DRep support exceeded 67%, while stake pool operator support passed 51%.
Voting closed on September 1, 2026, and the new Constitutional Committee members now hold their seats. The Foundation described the vote as part of Cardano’s on-chain governance process.
Separately, Mintern reported that ADA joined the assets on Polymarket’s new perpetual futures platform. Traders can access leverage of up to 20x on ADA positions.

RealFi Mainnet Launch Set for October 1
Next, Cardanians said RealFi will launch on Cardano mainnet on October 1, 2026, following its public testnet phase. Input Output Global backs the product. RealFi will also introduce USDr into the Cardano environment. USDr is an asset-backed stablecoin included within the planned mainnet product.
Near-term attention now centers on trading volume, broader crypto market conditions, and the scheduled RealFi rollout. Profit-taking could also pressure ADA following its sharp intraday advance.
