Veteran cybersecurity leader to oversee enterprise and product security as customers accelerate AI adoption

AUSTIN, Texas, August 11, 2026–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Tricentis, the global leader in agentic quality engineering, today announced the appointment of Erika Dean as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Dean will lead the company’s global security strategy, overseeing enterprise cybersecurity, compliance, and product security while ensuring Tricentis’ software continues to meet the evolving security needs of enterprise customers.

Dean brings more than two decades of cybersecurity leadership experience spanning financial services and technology industries. Throughout her career, she has built and led security programs at Robinhood and Capital One focused on protecting organizations while enabling business growth, fostering customer trust, and strengthening resilience against the evolving threat landscape.

At Tricentis, Dean will work across the organization to evolve the company’s enterprise and product security programs while helping ensure its software is designed and delivered with customers’ security needs in mind. Her focus will include supporting the industry-leading Tricentis Agentic Quality Engineering Platform, strengthening software supply chain security, and advancing governance and cyber resilience across the company and its products.

“My career has focused on protecting organizations while enabling innovation,” said Erika Dean, CISO at Tricentis. “As AI continues to transform the way software is built, security must extend beyond protecting our own organization to earning our customers’ trust in the software running in their critical environments. Tricentis sits at a critical point in the software development lifecycle, where quality, security and governance all work together. I’m excited to build on the company’s strong security-first culture and partner with our customers to help them navigate the evolving cybersecurity landscape with confidence.”

“Cybersecurity is foundational to the trust our customers place in Tricentis,” said Kevin Thompson, CEO at Tricentis. “Erika’s expertise in building enterprise security programs and her customer-centric approach make her the ideal leader to drive Tricentis’ continued efforts to deliver innovative software quality solutions that enable customers to move faster without compromising security or governance.”

Dean joins Tricentis as organizations face increasingly sophisticated cyber threats and greater scrutiny around software supply chains, AI adoption, and the protection of sensitive data. Her appointment reinforces Tricentis’ commitment to maintaining a robust security program while helping customers deliver high-quality software securely, confidently, and at AI speed.
