Gemini in Chrome, your browsing assistant, is now available to all Android users in the U.S., making it easier than ever to explore the web on your phone.
Gemini in Chrome summarizes long articles, answers questions about web pages, and connects with your favorite Google apps — including Calendar and Keep — without making you switch between tabs. It even lets you customize and generate images on the go with Nano Banana.
AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers on Android in the U.S. can now also take advantage of Gemini in Chrome’s agentic capabilities with auto browse. Auto browse can handle tedious everyday tasks for you, helping you do things like book parking for an event, update a recurring online order, or organize travel for your next vacation.
These features are built to be secure by design, and our models are trained to detect known threats, such as prompt injection. And for added control, auto browse is designed to ask for confirmation before completing some sensitive tasks.
You can access Gemini in Chrome by tapping the Gemini icon or the three-dot menu on the top bar of your Android device.
