For every 100 men using generative AI, only 78 women use the technology, according to research from Harvard Business School. The difference raises concerns about unequal access to AI tools, workplace opportunities and participation in decisions affecting how artificial intelligence is developed and deployed.

Microsoft’s latest Global AI Diffusion Report places Ireland third globally for AI adoption, an increase from fourth place in the previous quarter. AI usage among Ireland’s working-age population increased from 48.4% to 49.9%, making Ireland the highest-ranked economy in Europe, placed ahead of Norway and France and behind only the UAE and Singapore.
