AI Cloud and data-center expansion
IREN previously said it had doubled its AI Cloud capacity to about 23,000 GPUs after ordering another 12,400 units from NVIDIA and AMD. The purchases were valued at approximately $674 million and included NVIDIA B300 and B200 systems, along with AMD MI350X GPUs.
The company had tied that planned deployment to an illustrative AI Cloud annualized revenue run rate exceeding $500 million by the end of the first quarter of 2026. IREN said the estimate was not fully contracted and depended on assumptions covering GPU delivery, commissioning, utilization and pricing.
IREN also announced a campus in Oklahoma in February that is planned at 1.6GW. The approximately 2,000-acre project is scheduled to begin receiving power in 2028 and increased IREN’s secured grid-connected power portfolio to more than 4.5GW, according to the company.
