Indian startups raised approximately $115 million across 28 funding deals during the week of October 26 to October 31, with AI companies Simplismart and Live2.ai among the biggest recipients of fresh capital.
According to Entrackr’s weekly funding report, the funding was spread across four growth-stage transactions and 24 early-stage deals. Simplismart and Live2.ai secured around $14 million each, highlighting investor interest in companies developing AI infrastructure and enterprise-focused applications.
Bengaluru-based Simplismart raised $14 million in a Series B funding round led by Dallas Venture Capital. The round also included participation from NVIDIA, Accel, Shastra VC and Micromax.
Simplismart develops software that helps businesses deploy and operate AI models more efficiently. Its platform is designed to help companies manage AI inference workloads, allowing them to balance performance, infrastructure requirements and operating costs. The company says its technology is used by businesses working across video, voice, multimodal and enterprise AI applications.
The funding is expected to help Simplismart expand its platform and strengthen its position in the AI infrastructure market. The company has also reported significant growth in its annualised revenue run rate over the past six months.
Live2.ai, meanwhile, raised around $14 million in a pre-Series B funding round led by IvyCap Ventures. The Bengaluru-based company develops an AI-powered platform focused on social intelligence and commerce. It plans to use the fresh capital to expand its AI agent platform, strengthen enterprise deployments, build cloud infrastructure across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific, and increase its workforce.
The two funding rounds come as Indian startups look to build products and services around the growing demand for AI adoption. While much of the attention has been on companies developing AI applications, investment is also flowing into the infrastructure required to deploy and operate these systems at scale.
Other significant funding deals during the week included healthtech startup Cent, which raised $15 million in a Series A round, and gaming startup Matiks, which secured $10 million in a pre-Series A round.
E-commerce brand Troovy also raised $11.5 million in a Series B round. Overall, e-commerce companies recorded the highest number of deals during the week, followed by AI startups.
Bengaluru remained the most active city for startup funding, accounting for 14 deals, followed by Delhi-NCR.
