Dubai, UAE – UAE-based technology company Cognit DX has unveiled Cortex, a new enterprise AI platform designed to help organisations deploy and scale artificial intelligence across their operations, as the company sets its sights on taking UAE-developed AI capabilities to regional and international markets.

The platform was launched at the Cognit AI Summit 2026 in Dubai, alongside Cognit AI Studio, applying generative AI to filmmaking and content production.

The two launches reflect Cognit DX’s broader focus on developing AI technology and intellectual property in the UAE, while addressing the growing demand from businesses for practical AI solutions that can move beyond experimentation and into everyday operations.

At the centre of the summit was Cortex, an end-to-end enterprise AI platform that offers the following capabilities in a secure and governed manner:

    • World’s best LLMs in one subscription
    • A single wallet system and a pay-as-you-go model
    • Integration with company tools and knowledge base
    • Agentic capabilities and digital employees
    • Full branding and customization

Alaa Dalghan, Founder and CEO of Cognit DX, led the official unveiling, demonstrating the platform’s capabilities and outlining the company’s vision for making AI more accessible and operational at enterprise level.

Rather than treating AI as a standalone technology, Cortex is positioned around the integration of AI into the wider enterprise environment. Its applications are aimed at helping organisations improve operational efficiency, support decision-making and identify new opportunities for innovation and business growth.

The summit also introduced Cognit AI Studio, extending the company’s AI focus beyond enterprise applications and into the creative industry.

The studio will harness the power of generative AI to produce films, commercials, series and digital avatars, disrupting filmmaking and content creation. As part of its launch, Cognit DX premiered a short film produced entirely using AI, demonstrating how emerging technologies can be incorporated into the creative production process.

Furthermore Cognit DX showcased its work in developing and deploying AI agents to 10x day-to-day work. Unlike conventional AI applications that primarily respond to user prompts, agentic AI is designed to take a more active role in carrying out tasks and supporting business processes.

The summit featured a keynote address by Hani Khalaf, Chief Technology Officer at Dell Technologies, as well as presentations examining enterprise AI, agentic AI and the growing role of generative technologies in the economy.

The Cognit AI Summit was an invitation-only gathering of over 100 decision-makers, senior leaders and CEOs across technology, digital transformation, AI and innovation from the UAE’s public and private sectors.

The executive-level format was designed to facilitate discussions around the business implications of AI and how organisations can move from individual AI use cases towards broader, scalable adoption.

For Cognit DX, the launches represent more than the introduction of two new ventures; they form part of a strategy to develop AI capabilities locally and build technology and intellectual property in the UAE with potential applications worldwide.

“The launch of Cortex marks an important milestone in Cognit DX’s journey to develop advanced AI solutions from the UAE that address the evolving needs of organisations” said Dalghan.

“Our ambition is to help organisations move from AI experimentation to practical, large-scale adoption, while contributing to the development of local technology capabilities that can grow, scale and compete in global markets.”

He added: “Cognit AI Studio extends this vision into the creative industry, where we see significant potential for AI to transform filmmaking and content production. We want to explore what becomes possible when emerging technology and creative capabilities come together.”

With Cortex, Cognit AI Studio and its work in agentic AI, Cognit DX is positioning itself as the leading end-to-end partner for organizations along their AI journey. “Cognit DX believes that the UAE and the region must be tech-producers, and not merely tech consumers. Today we are acting on this belief with purpose and intent” said Dalghan.
