New Delhi: The first week of September 2026 brought a diverse set of technology launches to the Indian market, with artificial intelligence emerging as a common theme across several products. From AI-focused business laptops and a meeting-recording fitness band to a long-zoom camera, a wet-and-dry vacuum cleaner, professional 4K displays and a gaming controller, the latest launches target very different kinds of users.
Among the highlights are Sony’s new RX10 V all-in-one camera, Dell’s Pro AI commercial portfolio and Urban’s Arc Note fitness band. Home users also have a new cleaning device from Dreame, while businesses can consider Optoma’s large-format N-Series displays. Gamers, meanwhile, get a new wired controller from Amkette.
Dreame H12 Dual FlexReach
Dreame has introduced the H12 Dual FlexReach, a 6-in-1 wet-and-dry vacuum cleaner aimed at users who want one device to handle more than conventional floor cleaning.
The device can vacuum and wash hard floors and is also designed to clean carpets, sofas, curtains, keyboards and car interiors. It comes with 23,000Pa suction and a 180-degree lie-flat design, allowing the vacuum to reach underneath low furniture. A detachable battery is included as well.
Another feature is the 90-degree Celsius hot-wash self-cleaning system. Dreame claims up to 50 minutes of runtime in floor-washing mode and up to 60 minutes in vacuum mode.
The H12 Dual FlexReach is priced at ₹44,999 and is available through Dreame India’s website.
Sony RX10 V
For photography enthusiasts, Sony has launched the fifth-generation RX10 V, positioning it as an all-in-one camera for wildlife, sports and everyday photography.
Its biggest attraction is the 24-600mm Zeiss lens, which provides a 25x optical zoom range from wide-angle to super-telephoto photography. The camera features a 1.0-type 20.1-megapixel stacked sensor and AI-powered subject recognition.
Sony has also equipped the camera with blackout-free continuous shooting at up to 30 frames per second, with full autofocus and auto-exposure tracking. For videographers, the RX10 V can record 4K video at 120fps.
The combination of a long zoom range, fast shooting and subject recognition makes the camera particularly suited to situations where changing lenses may not be practical.
The Sony RX10 V is priced at ₹2,45,645 in India. It is available through Sony authorised retailers, Sony Center outlets and Sony’s e-commerce portal.
Dell Pro AI commercial portfolio
Dell has expanded its commercial hardware portfolio in India with a range designed around AI workloads.
The new portfolio includes Dell Pro 3, Pro 5 and Pro 7 laptops, Pro Precision workstations, monitors and a 4K webcam. The Pro 7 series is available in 13-inch and 14-inch laptop and 2-in-1 configurations.
The Pro 7 models offer processor choices including Intel Core Ultra Series 3 and AMD Ryzen AI 400. Select models feature OLED screens, while the range can offer up to 23 hours of battery life, according to Dell’s stated specifications
Pricing for the new portfolio starts at ₹1,27,429 for the Dell Pro 3 14. The Pro 7 range starts at ₹1,43,370.
For professionals requiring more powerful hardware, Dell Pro Precision workstations start at ₹2.5 lakh, while the new monitors start at ₹1,27,199.
Optoma N-Series professional displays
Optoma has also entered the week’s launch list with its N-Series Professional Displays, aimed primarily at businesses and professional environments.
The displays range from 55 inches to 98 inches and offer 4K UHD resolution. They support 24/7 operation and can be installed in either portrait or landscape orientation.
The displays also feature an integrated media player for digital signage and Optoma Management Suite, which allows multiple screens to be managed remotely.
They run on Android 14 and offer connectivity options including HDMI, DisplayPort, USB Type-C, LAN and wireless connectivity. Models measuring 65 inches and above additionally feature an OPS slot.
The large screen sizes and remote-management features make the series particularly relevant for offices, retail environments, meeting rooms and digital signage applications.
Urban Arc Note fitness band
The week’s technology launches also included a product aimed at combining personal health tracking with workplace productivity.
Urban has launched the Arc Note, a screen-free fitness band that can record and summarise meetings directly from the wrist. The device supports more than 17 Indian languages, making its meeting-related functionality particularly relevant to India’s multilingual user base.
Apart from recording and summarising conversations, the Arc Note tracks heart rate, SpO₂, sleep and stress. It offers up to 15 days of battery life and does not require a subscription.
The fitness band is priced at ₹6,999 and is scheduled to go on sale from September 7. Advance bookings are already open, with a ₹1,000 booking-period discount bringing the effective price to ₹5,999.
EvoFox Elite S wired gamepad
Gamers also received a new accessory this week as Amkette launched the EvoFox Elite S Wired Gamepad.
The controller features 1,000Hz polling, magnetic Hall Effect joysticks and two programmable macro buttons. It also includes an On-the-Fly Sniper Mode, which allows players to adjust aiming sensitivity while gaming.
Other features include Accuracy Mode, Turbo Mode, dual vibration motors and RGB lighting around the joysticks.
Because the controller uses a wired connection, users do not have to charge it or worry about wireless connectivity interruptions during gaming sessions.
The EvoFox Elite S Wired Gamepad costs ₹1,299 and is available in White and Grey variants.
AI remains a major theme
While the six products serve different categories, AI is increasingly becoming part of mainstream consumer and professional hardware.
Dell is directly targeting AI workloads with its commercial laptops and workstations, while Sony is using AI-powered subject recognition to improve camera autofocus and tracking. Urban, meanwhile, is applying AI to meeting transcription and summaries.
At the same time, other products demonstrate that hardware innovation is not limited to AI. Dreame is focusing on multifunctional cleaning, Optoma on large-format commercial displays and Amkette on gaming performance.
This variety shows how manufacturers are adding specialised features to established product categories rather than relying only on conventional upgrades.
Which launches stand out?
For professional users, Dell’s Pro AI portfolio is one of the more significant launches because it combines AI-oriented processors with laptops, workstations and other office hardware.
Photography enthusiasts may find the Sony RX10 V particularly interesting because its 24-600mm lens provides a broad shooting range without requiring multiple lenses.
For home users, the Dreame H12 Dual FlexReach is aimed at simplifying cleaning by combining multiple functions in one machine. Urban’s Arc Note takes a different approach by combining fitness tracking with AI-assisted meeting summaries.
Meanwhile, Optoma’s N-Series is clearly focused on commercial applications, while the EvoFox Elite S targets gamers looking for a wired controller with advanced controls.
Conclusion
This week’s technology launches in India cover everything from ₹1,299 gaming accessories to a ₹2.45 lakh camera, highlighting how manufacturers are targeting increasingly specific user requirements.
AI is clearly one of the major themes, particularly in Dell’s business hardware, Sony’s camera and Urban’s fitness band. But the week’s launches also show continued innovation in home appliances, displays and gaming accessories.
For buyers, the choice ultimately depends on the use case: professionals may look towards Dell or Optoma, photographers towards Sony, home users towards Dreame, fitness and productivity-focused users towards Urban, and gamers towards Amkette.
