Anker began life in 2011 as an unknown entity selling generic-looking USB chargers and cables on Amazon, but it didn’t stay that way for long. They soon built a reputation for making affordable accessories that were actually good, and eventually became a top global brand in mobile charging. Along the way, it has expanded into audio devices, projectors, smart home tech, security, and even massive power stations capable of powering an entire home during an outage (just one of the many gadgets you should have for emergencies).
But bigger isn’t always better, and some of Anker’s best products are also its smallest. Today we focus on devices from Anker (and its sister brands Soundcore and Eufy) that disappear into your back pocket or hide in the car until the moment you need them. We start with the conventional but useful power gadgets and finish with a portable cinema that can fit in your pocket.
Anker Nano Power Bank 5K MagGo Slim
The Nano Power Bank 5K MagGo Slim (Amazon, $59.99) is a mouthful of a product name, but packs a lot of power into an almost credit-card-sized magnetic charging bank, attaching conveniently to your iPhone via the MagSafe on the rear. If your device is a few years old and you find the battery won’t last a full day anymore, this is an essential to extend its life before you feel compelled to upgrade. Android users can also benefit from 15W Qi2 charging, but while it’s convenient, wireless charging may not be worth it for you. As MacWorld notes, although it’s ultra-thin, the 5K MagGo Slim also gets noticeably warm and can throttle the charging rate compared to thicker alternatives.
Now is a good time to mention that stated battery capacities can be deceiving. The “5K” of the Nano Power Bank refers to 5,000mAh (milliamp-hours) of stored power capacity, but that’s measured at the cell voltage of 3.7V, rather than the charging voltage of 5V, which becomes 3,800mAh. Instead, it’s worth looking at the total power capacity in a voltage-agnostic way: around 19Wh (Watt-hours). That’s roughly one full charge of an iPhone 15’s 13Wh battery, accounting for power losses from conversion inefficiencies. Suffice to say, it’ll likely charge your phone once, not multiple times. But sometimes that can make all the difference.
Anker Nano Power Bank
No MagSafe? No problem! The Anker Nano Power Bank ($26.99 from Amazon, available in black, white, pastel pink, green, or blue ) connects directly to the USB-C port on the base of your phone with a fold-out plug — or you can use the port on the side with a standard cable for charging back up or discharging to two devices at once. The 22.5W maximum charge rate is faster than wireless.
This diminutive power bank has the same capacity as the MagGo, which means you’re likely to get roughly one full charge from it. Although the promotional images show phones being held up while it’s inserted, we don’t actually suggest doing that. As TechAdvisor notes in its review, it can be a bit wobbly, so it would be best to lay it flat on the table to avoid damaging the port.
Anker Nano Travel Adapter
The Anker Nano Travel Adapter is a two-in-one device that offers both a two-pin AC plug converter suitable for over 200 countries and a built-in USB charger. With two USB-A and two USB-C ports, the total power output is only 20W across all ports, but that’s plenty to plug everything in overnight and not have to worry about overcharging. In its review, ZDNet appreciated the small indicator light which lets you know when something is plugged in properly and drawing power — something which can be tricky to know if you’re not familiar with the country.
However, remember that a plug adapter isn’t a voltage converter. Two-pin U.S. appliances run on 110V, and many won’t operate correctly on the 220V you’ll find, for instance, in the United Kingdom. Check the input specifications on the appliance first — if it says something along the lines of “Universal Switching Adapter” or “100-250V”, it’ll work on either system.
Anker Nano 75W Fast Car Charger
Even if your car does offer a USB port for charging, it’s unlikely to be more than a trickle-charge 5W socket. And while plenty of USB car chargers are out there, Anker still found a way to make a better one. The Anker Nano 75W Fast Car Charger (currently a bargain at $22.49 on Amazon) barely protrudes from the cigarette lighter socket that it plugs into, but is somehow capable of charging any device — including a laptop — at up to 75W
It also includes a single USB-C port for your own cables and an additional built-in retractable USB-C cable for ultimate convenience. Another benefit of this non-removable cable is that it’ll stop your family members from accidentally removing your charging cable from the car, only for you to find out at the most inopportune of times. The only downside? The retractable cable is 29.5 inches, which, as Android Central notes in its review, probably isn’t long enough for those in the back seats.
Anker USB-C Hub 7-in-1
Starting around 2015, Apple ushered in the era of dongle misery by replacing a whole host of useful ports and MagSafe charging with a couple of USB-C ports (or even a single one on the 12-inch MacBook). Ardent fans argued that Apple saw the future of computing as a single unified port for everything, but a decade later we still have to plug in HDMI cables to projectors, random USB sticks for school, and SD cards from your camera.
But at least this Anker 7-in-1 multiport hub reduces those needs to a single adapter, taking one USB-C port and turning it into HDMI (capable of 4K at 60Hz), SD and microSD, two USB-A ports, and a passthrough USB-C. If you add a 100W PD power supply, it’ll pass 85W back to your laptop, but otherwise it works without external power. Over 3,500 five-star ratings on Amazon support customers’ admiration for this hub.
Anker MagGo 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Station
We’re so used to the convenience of wirelessly charging everything that one of the most annoying things about traveling is having to dig out all those chargers for your gadgets from the designated random cable drawer (don’t deny it, we know every household has one, and most of them could do with being tidied up with these Dollar Tree bins!)
But don’t fret: The Anker MagGo 3-in-1 Foldable travel charger ($85.99, Amazon) for Apple iPhone, Watch, and AirPods packs flat to the size of a deck of cards and weighs only 6.9oz. With Qi2 wireless charging up to 15W (matching Apple’s own MagSafe, but twice as fast as the previous generation of Qi charging), it may also find a more permanent home on your bedside table. While it seems a little pricey, the package includes a 40W USB charger plug.
Soundcore Select 4 Go
As a general rule, electronics and water don’t mix — which can be a problem at pool parties and lakeside events if you want some tunes. The Soundcore Select 4 Go ($23.98, Amazon) is a palm-sized waterproof speaker with excellent battery life that comes highly rated at an average of 4.7 stars from over 12,000 user reviews. Available in a variety of vibrant colors, the IP67 rating means it’ll withstand more than a little water exposure, especially when stood upright on the rubber feet — and it even floats, so it won’t end up at the bottom of the lake or bathtub.
The Soundcore Select Go 4 is one of our picks for the cheapest but high-quality small speakers in 2026. In its review, SoundGuys praised the full sound from such a budget speaker, its superior 20-hour battery life compared to the JBL Go 4, and its ability to tweak the EQ.
Soundcore Work
The Soundcore Work AI Notetaker ($119.98, Amazon) is a tiny, magnetic clip-on AI recorder that transcribes meetings and discussions, powered by ChatGPT. It includes 300 minutes free each month, though you can subscribe to the Pro plan with 1200 minutes for less than $10/month or Unlimited for $19.99 per month.
While it’s not as good for larger meetings as the Plaud Note Pro, which features four beam-forming MEMS microphones, the dual mic arrangement in the Souncore Work is fine for one-on-one situations and small group discussions. You can wear it on a lanyard, clip it to a shirt pocket, or use the magnetic charging case to attach it to the back of your phone — though unlike the Plaud Note Pro, the Soundcore Work is designed for in-person use, not call recording.
As Cult of Mac notes, however, you can achieve much the same using your existing voice recorder app and a selection of AI services. The biggest benefit of the Soundcore Work is saving your smartphone‘s battery life for longer recordings and simplifying the workflow with automatic transcription, diarization, and summaries once the meeting is finished. For frequent meetings or interviews, that’s well worth the purchase.
Eufy SmartTrack Card E30
Eufy is the security-focused arm of Anker, and although it’s better known for security cameras, Eufy also makes a neat credit-card-sized wallet tracker that works with Apple’s Find My. If your morning routine consists of chanting “Where are my keys? Where is my phone?”, this one is essential. The SmartTrack Card E30 (Amazon, $19.99) promises 365 days of battery life, but it’s rechargeable, too. PCMag notes that while Eufy offers its own tracking app, it can be slow to update and isn’t suitable for live location tracking — however, the native Apple Find My app worked flawlessly.
While you’re at it, pick up some of the SmartTrack Links ($18.98 for a two-pack on Amazon) for your keys and other objects as an alternative to pricey AirTags. That said, there’s one key difference. Neither Eufy alternative has the Ultra Wide Band chip for precise location tracking. Once in range, AirTags can pinpoint to within a few inches. Apple’s Find My network can give a rough location, and you can trigger a sound when close, which is usually enough to get your car started up in time to make it to work.
Soundcore Nebula Capsule 3
Barely bigger than a Coke can, the Nebula Capsule 3 ($359.97 on Amazon at the time of writing) is a portable projector for impromptu movie nights anywhere — or perhaps you just need something bigger than a phone screen for productivity without carrying around an entire monitor. At 6.3 inches tall by just over 3 inches in diameter, you should be able to squish it into a side pocket of your rucksack, while the battery provides up to 2.5 hours on a full charge.
The Nebula Capsule 3 is the less powerful version of its laser-equipped big brother, the Capsule 3 Laser, and at a mere 200 lumens, you should set your expectations appropriately for daytime use. According to PC Mag, an image size of 30 inches was fine for movie viewing on a bright day indoors — any larger, or something with particularly dark scenes, would be tricky. Another benefit of the Capsule 3 compared to competitors is its built-in Google TV, which offers a certified Netflix app for full-resolution HD playback, and it also has a full-size HDMI port for external inputs.
Methodology
The gadgets we’ve picked are well rated by Amazon buyers, with at least four stars. They’re made by Anker or one of its sister brands. Small is subjective, but we mean small enough to fit in your pocket, handbag, or tucked into an already packed rucksack. If you need to plan to make space for it or take a separate carry case, it’s not small. We’ve excluded cables because, while Anker makes some fantastic ones, they’re not gadgets.
